St. Mary's Schools and Church, Storm Lake, Iowa (in winter)

The small Catholic parochial school I attended from Kindergarten and graduated high school. A small school occupying a little more than half a city block with elementary and high school class rooms in adjoining buildings. The high school being in the distance on the left, elementary in middle. While I was there, average class size was between 25 and 30 students per grade level, my graduating class was one of the smallest at the time, 16 students. This doesn't make for much diversity, but it does make for a closer, more family like environment, you know almost everyone.

At St. Mary's I was active in many things, although not much of a jock, I did golf a couple years. My main interests lied in the fine arts, was involved with the band for a short time, then mostly choir and show choir, as well as speech and drama. Tried acting for a couple shows but found my place better behind the scenes.
